இங்கிலாந்து அணியுடனான ஐந்தாவது டெஸ்ட் போட்டியில் இந்திய வீரர் ரிஷப் பண்ட் சதம் அடித்து அசத்தியுள்ளார்.
இந்தியா இங்கிலாந்து இடையேயான கடைசி டெஸ்ட் போட்டி லண்டனின் ஓவல் மைதானத்தில் நடைபெற்று வருகிறது.
இதில் டாஸ் வென்று முதலில் பேட்டிங் செய்த இங்கிலாந்து அணி, இரண்டாவது இன்னிங்ஸ் முடிவில் இந்திய அணிக்கு 464 ரன்களை இலக்காக நிர்ணயித்தது.
இதனையடுத்து இமாலய இலக்கை துரத்தி களமிறங்கிய இந்திய அணிக்கு பெரும் அதிர்ச்சியாக ஷிகர் தவான் 1 ரன்னிலும், கோஹ்லி மற்றும் புஜாரா ரன் எதுவும் எடுக்காமல் வந்த வேகத்தில் விக்கெட்டை இழந்து வெளியேறினர்.
இதனையடுத்து களமிறங்கிய ரஹானே , கே. எல் ராகுலுடன் இணைந்து பொறுப்பான ஆட்டத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தினார். 106 பந்துகளில் 37 ரன்கள் எடுத்த ரஹானே மொய்ன் அலி பந்தில் கேட்ச் கொடுத்து வெளியேறினார், பின்னர் வந்த விஹாரி ரன் எதுவும் எடுக்காமல் விக்கெட்டை இழந்தார்.
