இந்திய அணி இங்கிலாந்துக்கு எதிரான தனது முதல் ஒருநாள் போட்டியை இன்று ஆடி வருகிறது. நீண்ட இடைவெளிக்கு பிறகு சுரேஷ் ரெய்னா அணியில் இடம்பெற்றார். இதற்க்கு தினேஷ் கார்த்திக்கை ஏன் அணியில் சேர்க்கவில்லை என ட்விட்டரில் ரசிகர்கள் கொந்தளிக்க ஆரம்பித்துவிட்டனர்.
இங்கிலாந்து சென்றுள்ள கோஹ்லி தலைமையிலான இந்திய கிரிக்கெட் அணி, இங்கிலாந்து அணியுடன் மூன்று டி.20 போட்டிகள், மூன்று ஒருநாள் போட்டிகள் மற்றும் ஐந்து டெஸ்ட் போட்டிகள் கொண்ட தொடரில் பங்கேற்றுள்ளது.
இதில் முதலில் நடைபெற்ற டி.20 தொடரை 2-1 என்ற கணக்கில் இந்திய அணி கைப்பற்றிவிட்ட நிலையில், இரு அணிகள் இடையேயான மூன்று போட்டிகள் கொண்ட ஒருநாள் தொடரின் முதல் போட்டி நடைபெற்றுக்கொண்டு வருகிறது.
இதில் நீண்ட இடைவேளைக்கு பின் சுரேஷ் ரெய்னா அணியில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டார். இவர் கடைசியாக 2015ம் ஆண்டு தென்னாபிரிக்கா அணிக்கெதிரான தொடரில் ஆடினார். அதன் பின் சரிவர செயல்படாதனால் அணியில் இடம்பெறவில்லை.
ரெய்னா இங்கிலாந்து சுற்றுப்பயணத்தில் டி20 அணியில் மட்டுமே சேர்க்கப்பட்டார். அம்பதி ராயுடு உடற்தகுதி பரிசோதனையில் தேர்ச்சி பெறாததால் இங்கிலாந்து செல்லும் அணியில் இருந்து நீக்கப்பட்டார். இதனால், ராயுடு விற்கு பதிலாக ஒருநாள் போட்டிக்கான அணியில் 3 வருடங்களுக்கு பிறகு ரெய்னா சேர்க்கப்பட்டார்.
தினேஷ் கார்த்திக் இந்த தொடரில் இதுவரை ஒருபோட்டியில் கூட ஆட வாய்ப்பளிக்கவே இல்லை. இவர் இந்த வருட துவக்கத்தில் நடைபெற்ற தென்னாபிரிக்கா தொடரிலும் இடம்பெற்றார். ஆனால், அங்கும் பெரிதாக வாய்ப்பு கிடைக்கவில்லை.
ரெய்னாவிற்கு முன்பு தினேஷ் கார்த்திக் தன்னை நிரூபிக்க வாய்ப்புக்காக காத்திருக்கையில், தற்போது ரெய்னாவிற்கு அணியில் இடம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது எப்படி என ட்விட்டரில் ரசிகர்கள் கொந்தளித்துள்ளனர்.
ரெய்னா வாய்ப்பை தக்க வைப்பாரா?
ரெய்னா, இதுவரை இந்த தொடரில் நன்றாக ஆடி வருகிறார். டி20 போட்டியில் 3 போட்டிகளிலும் இவருக்கு இடம் அளிக்கப்பட்டது. மேலும், அயர்லாந்து அணிக்கெதிரான தொடரிலும் நன்றாக ஆடினார்.
இன்றைய ஒருநாள் போட்டியில் 3வது இடத்தில கே எல் ராகுல் இறங்குவதால், கோஹ்லி 4வது மற்றும் தோனி 5வது இடத்திலிறங்க உள்ளனர். ரெய்னாவிற்கு 6வது இடம் தான் கிடைக்கும் என்பதால், நிதானமாக ஆட முடியாது. தனது அதிரடியை ஆரம்பத்திலிருந்தே காட்ட வேண்டிய சூழ்நிலையில் உள்ளார்.
சிறப்பாக ஆடவில்லை என்றால் இவரின் இடத்தை நிரப்ப மனிஷ் பாண்டே மற்றும் தினேஷ் கார்த்திக் உள்ளனர் என்பதால் இவருக்கு வாழ்வா? சாவா? என்ற நிலையில் தான் ஆட்டம் இருக்கும்.
